UK Future Treescapes Knowledge Exchange Fellowship (NERC/DEFRA, 2023). A project identifying surviving large wych elm (Ulmus glabra) across Scotland and will run a microsatellite DNA analysis between the surviving population and those susceptible to Dutch elm disease. A children’s book will be written and produced from the research and story of the elm’s struggle to survive.
